We are pleased to announce that Steven E. Sims has joined WRM as Executive Vice President. Steven will be primarily responsible for assisting in the development of the Private Schools Program, as well as capitalizing on opportunities with existing programs,

Mr. Sims has distinguished himself as an innovator and industry leader in the insurance field over the last twenty-five years. His experience within the property, casualty and professional liability program field includes mergers and acquisitions, underwriting, risk management, reinsurance, marketing and brokerage.

Prior to joining us, Steve was Executive Vice President with Willis Programs in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Preceeding that in 2002, Mr. Sims founded his third Managing General Agent (MGA) Platform, Target Capital. As co-founder he focused on acquiring and developing a group of Professional Liability and other Specialty Lines MGA's.

Mr. Sims' focus has been and remains on building specialty programs with strong and efficient organization for underwriting operations and supporting departments. He has held Senior Management Positions in the home office of Marsh & McLennan, Principal of Associated Programs Inc. and Principal of Oxford Underwriting Management of Bermuda.

Steve holds a Bachelor's and Master Degree from The University of Alabama in Government and Business Administration. He continued post-graduate studies at New York University's Stern School from 1987 through 1989 in Capital Syndication and Accounting.
